The Bengals played coy on Monday when asked of they would look to add a free agent cornerback to try and help replace Leon Hall, but it appears that they’ve been working the phones trying to claim several young corners.
The Bengals tried to claim former Philadelphia Eagles seventh-round draft pick Jordan Poyer after he was swaived, only to watch their in-state rivals scoop him up:
Landed safe in Cleveland. . . Excited to go to work tomorrow

Speaking of Poyer, if the Bengals do get a chance to see him in action when the two teams meet in Week 11, it will likely be as a safety:
#Browns HC Chud said recently claimed Jordan Poyer will work at safety, not cornerback.
