The Bengals made several other attempts to sign players at various positions before ultimately deciding to add David King to the practice squad.
Joe Reedy reported the same last night, as well as the Bengals’ attempts to claim former fifth-round draft pick Shaun Prater, who was ultimately claimed by the Minnesota Vikings:
It may seem odd that a number of those players that were in for workout were defensive tackles, but with Devon Still having a serious elbow injury that could sideline him for as long as a month, they need another body along the defensive line.
Thanks everybody for the prayers and support..obstacles are nothing new to me I’ll bounce back like b4
