NFL: Bills to sit C.J. Spiller; Falcons’ Roddy White out

Buffalo Bills running back C.J. Spiller’s struggles have been in large part because of a nagging ankle injury that’s limited him to just 24 carries over the past three games. Instead of continuing to use him in a limited capacity, the Bills will sit him this week in hopes he can recover and become the C.J. Spiller who totaled 1,800 yards from scrimmage last year:

 

 

 

The Atlanta Falcons’ Week 7 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was the first wide receiver Roddy White has ever missed in his 8-year NFL career. A bum ankle and hamstring injuries knocked the Falcons great out of the lineup, and it appears as though it will do the same again this week:

 

 

Benglas receiver Marvin Jones was able to practice today as he recovers from an injured shoulder suffered during last Sunday’s win over the Detroit Lions.
