NFL: Ranking the Top 5 Teams

4.  Kansas City Chiefs: Yes, I may get some negative feedback for putting the Chiefs this low. However, I’m just not sold on a team that doesn’t have more than one or two quality wins. They’ve done well with the cards they were dealt though, and you can’t take that away from them. An ultra-talented defense and a brilliant job by Andy Reid masks the average quarterback play by Alex Smith.

5.  New Orleans Saints: There’s a bit of a trend with the top teams, and that’s at the quarterback position. Drew Brees is one of the best signal-callers in the league and is a large reason why the Saints have just one loss – against the Patriots, and a brilliant comeback by Brady and Co. Who wouldn’t want to see Saints vs. Bronocs on the big stage? It would certainly be quite a game.
