It didn’t help that the offense was non-existent for about three quarters of play, highlighted by Andy Dalton’s third-quarter interception that was taken to the house by cornerback Brent Grimes. But once again, Marvin Lewis wouldn’t let his team sulk in it’s misery and accept their misfortunes as reason to quit.

No, this team once again fought their hearts out, and while they didn’t come out with a win, this team continues to show the hearts of champions.

“It’s tough, but we can’t really let it get us down,” Andy Dalton said. “Like I said, we played hard and it just comes down to a couple little plays in there. We’ll watch the film, we’ll get better from it and this team is going to stick together and keep fighting.”

They’ll have to rebound from this loss, as well as all the injuries they’ve suffered, but if the first half of the season is any indicator, they’ll do just that.
