It’s been hard to keep Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam Jones out of the news this year, and he’s once again making headlines with his latest decision to re-join the professional wrestling industry. Jones previously had a brief stint as a professional wrestler with TNA during his full-season suspension in 2007, and he’ll be joining them again.
TNA President Dixie Carter revealed that Cincinnati Bengals football cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones is the former World title holder that will be returning to Impact Wrestling this Thursday night. Despite never really competing in TNA, Jones is a former TNA tag team champion.
It’s an interesting decision by Adam to do this in the middle of the week of arguably the team’s biggest divisional game this year against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, and this hopefully doesn’t distract him from that. That being said, it would be interesting to watch Jones in a wrestling match with his good buddy, David Nelson.
