Haloti Ngata exits with knee sprain; Returns in 2nd QTR

Ngata is back in the game now in the middle of the second quarter.

The Cincinnati Bengals are trailing the Baltimore Ravens right now, who may have just lost arguably their best player overall in defensive tackle Haloti Ngata:

 

 


And this from the Baltimore Sun’s Aaron Wilson:

Ravens Pro Bowl nose tackle Haloti Ngata injured his left knee in the first quarter and went to the locker room for further examination.

The initial diagnosis is a sprained knee.

Ngata was able to walk off the field under his own power with trainers and didn’t appear to be injured seriously.

Ngata was off to a strong start today with three tackles, including a solo stop where he slammed Cincinnati Bengals rookie running back Giovani Bernard to the ground to hold him to one yard.
