Despite suffering through a pair of heartbreaking overtime losses to go with losing their best players on defense in Geno Atkins and Leon Hall, the Cincinnati Bengals are trying to keep their faith in each strong as they attempt to win the AFC North for the first time in four years.
So what better man to inspire faith than that of the Reverend Jesse Jackson:
Something you don’t see every day, Rev. Jesse Jackson in the #Bengals locker room

Something you don’t see every day (not outside Chicago, at least): The Rev. Jesse Jackson in a pro team’s locker room. #Bengals

This is appears to be a motivational tactic by Bengals Head Coach Marvin Lewis, and it seems like a good one at that. This team has faced an abnormal amount of adversity stemming from season-ending injuries to two of the best players on their team in Leon Hall and Geno Atkins, as well as season-ending injuries to other key players like Robert Geathers, Taylor Mays, Emmanuel Lamur and possbily Devon Still.
