Linebacker Vontaze Burfict (knee), center Kyle Cook (shoulder) and defensive tackle Brandon Thompson (ankle) returned to practice Thursday after sitting out Wednesday.
Safety Chris Crocker (hamstring) and right guard Kevin Zeitler (foot) didn’t practice today and it puts their status in doubt for Sunday. Zeitler sounds like he needs a game, as his play has dropped-off significantly this year after having a great rookie season. He was spotted in a walking boot Monday, despite not having left the game Sunday vs the Baltimore Ravens. Perhaps he aggravated a previous foot injury that’s been hindering him this year.
Either way, Trevor Robinson or Mike Pollak are likely to start in his place Sunday if he can’t go. The Bengals could also play offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth at guard and bring in Anthony Collins to play his left tackle spot.
