Jason Snelling charged with possession of marijuana

The Atlanta Falcons have been arguably the most disappointing team in the NFL this yea.r After being projected as a Super Bowl contender by many, they’re already out of the playoff hunt just halfway through the month of November. It’s going from bad to worse after running back Jason Snelling was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana today.

Snelling reportedly then admitted to smoking marijuana at a friend’s house earlier in the evening.

“I asked Mr. Snelling if there was any other marijuana in the vehicle, and he told me that there was a grinder in the center console of the vehicle and that it had a little bit of marijuana left in it,” the arresting officer wrote in his report, via the Barrow County News. “… I searched the vehicle and located a metal grinder where Mr. Snelling had said it was.”

The Barrow Journal also reports that Snelling was booked into jail early this morning and has since made bond.
