The Bengals have gone ahead ahead and made it official by declaring Kevin Zeitler out for Sunday’s game against the Browns.

According to Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer, it will probably be Mike Pollak who starts in his place:

With Zeitler out, Mike Pollak could be in line for the start. Pollak missed the first six games of the season after suffering a knee injury in the preseason finale against the Colts. In his five-plus seasons in the league, Pollak has 41 starts.

“He’s done well. He hasn’t had much opportunities in games but he’s a smart guy,” said Marvin Lewis of Pollak. “The fact he’s started in games and you know the urgency of when your chance comes you have to be good at it.”

It looks like the Cincinnati Bengals will be without starting right guard Kevin Zeitler after he didn’t practice today, meaning he’s missed every practice this week and is essentially “out” for Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns:

Zeitler sounds like he needs a game off, as his play has dropped-off significantly this year after having a great rookie season. He was spotted in a walking boot Monday, despite not having left the game Sunday vs the Baltimore Ravens. Perhaps he aggravated a previous foot injury that’s been hindering him this year. Either way, Trevor Robinson or Mike Pollak are likely to start in his place Sunday if he can’t go. The Bengals could also play offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth at guard and bring in Anthony Collins to play his left tackle spot.
