Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton threw a critical pair of interceptions in the first quarter of Sunday’s 41-20 win over the Cleveland Browns, one of which was returned for a score by cornerback Joe Haden.

But wide receiver A.J. Green came to the defense of Dalton, taking the blame for the first INT as described by Green himself:

“The linebacker dropped underneath. I have to go to the outside on that,” Green said after the game. “It’s my fault, I think I could have filled that. He was throwing to the open spot. And I was thinking about wrapping around the linebacker. That’s stuff I need to clean up myself.”
