Pressley started 10 games for the Bengals in 2011. In March 2012, he signed a two-year contract extension with the team and started every game at FB until he suffered a knee injury in Week 15 against the Philadelphia Eagles that cost him the rest of the season and had kept him on the physically unable to perform list since.
