The Cincinnati Bengals managed to make it to their bye week with a 7-4 record and a 2.5 lead in the AFC North, and as you can imagine, they’re getting a lot of love when it comes to NFL power rankings.

CBS Sports’ Pat Kirwin tabbed the Bengals at No. 8, and he would have ranked them higher if not for the recent slump of Andy Dalton:

This is one of the most inconsistent teams in the top 15, and it’s usually because of Andy Dalton. He has thrown eight INTs the past three games.

Matt Miller of the Bleacher Report placed the Bengals at No. 8 as well, and he was impressed with the team;s ability to overcome a slow start and still win convincingly against the Browns.
