In Sunday’s win over the Cleveland Browns, Burfict led the team with 15 tackles, forced a fumble and recovered it for a touchdown. Burfict also added a tackle for loss and a pass deflection, and looks bound for a berth in the Pro Bowl if he’s given the credit he deserves from his peers. Especially if he keeps making plays like this:

Burfict has come a long way from being undrafted out of Arizona State and being viewed as ‘toxic’ by every NFL team, but the Bengals gave him a chance to earn his keep in the NFL the hard way, and he’s risen from a backup/special teamer, to arguably the best player on a top-10 defense in just his second season.
