Fantasy Football: Last Minute Sneaky Starts

A last-minute start sometimes isn’t always the best idea, but sometimes you can grab some serious points starting a player in a favorable matchup.  If an opposing defense is down some starters or they are struggling in one phase, other options in the passing or running game sometimes emerge.  For some fantasy owners playing matchups with a couple of players can be a way to compensate for a weak position on the roster. Here are 5 guys that could be a sneaking start.

QB – Mike Glennon

If Tampa Bay fans are looking for something to cheer about it’s the fact that I think they found themselves a quarterback.  The rookie who was supposed to be in a redshirt year has played well especially when he uses Vincent Jackson.  He is worth a chance indoors against a leaky Detroit secondary.

RB – Chris Ogbonnaya

It looks like the Browns are looking to use Ogbonnaya as their lead back going forward.  He led the team in touches last week and with check down master Jason Campbell , he could prove to be a solid start against a Pittsburgh defense that is giving up the 11th most points to opposing running backs and will be without Lamarr Woodley.
