As for the teams who would be in the playoffs and who they would face if they started today, here’s how they would be seeded:

AFC

AFC No. 1 Seed: Denver Broncos (9-2) would have first-round bye

AFC No. 2 Seed: New England Patriots (8-3) would have first-round bye

AFC No. 3 Seed: Cincinnati Bengals (7-4) would host AFC No. 6 Tennessee Titans (5-6)

AFC No. 4 Seed: Indianapolis Colts (7-4) would host No. 5 Seed Kansas City Chiefs (9-2)

 

NFC

NFC No. 1 Seed: Seattle Seahawks (10-1) would have first-round bye

NFC No. 2 Seed: New Orleans Saints (9-2) would have first-round bye

NFC No. 3 Seed: Detroit Lions (6-5) would host No. 6  San Francisco 49ers

NFC No. 4 Seed: Philadelphia Eagles (6-5) would host No. 5 Seed Carolina Panthers (8-3)
