Cincinnati Bengals take 7-0 lead Despite Offensive Line Concerns

The Cincinnati Bengals have controlled the line of scrimmage through one quarter against the San Diego Chargers, and the offensive line is opening up so big lanes for both Giovani Bernard and BenJarvus Green-Ellis, who just punched the ball into the endzone from the SD-3 yard-line tho give the Bengals an early 7-0 lead.

But it was done so with a make-shift offensive line, that’s already without starting right guard Kevin Zeitler, and for whatever reason, right tackle Andre Smith did not get the start today:

The issue was compounded even further when starting left guard Clint Boling was knocked out of the game with what looks to be a significant knee injury. He was on the field for a while after his leg was rolled-up, and he was eventually helped off the field.

The team has since announced he has a knee injury and his return is questionable.
