Bengals whip Colts to Claim Third-Straight Winning Season

The Cincinnati Bengals have now clinched a third-straight winning season with today’s 42-28 victory over the Indianapolis Colts, as they improved to 9-4 and kept place with the 10-3 New England Patriots for the AFC’s No. 2 seed.
If the playoffs began today, the Bengals would have a first-round bye, but there’s still work to be done, and today’s win over the Colts in convincing fashion is a huge confidence booster. It also kept Cincinnati undefeated at home, and with the Minnesota Vikings and Baltimore Ravens as the only remaining home games, there’s a chance that the Bengals will finish the year without a blemish at home.
As for today, a balanced offensive attack supplemented with a defense that played great for 2.5 quarters, the Bengals were able to overcome a four-touchdown performance by Andrew Luck and the struggling Colts, who are now 3-3 in their last six games.
