When Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton throw for three or more touchdowns in a game, his team is 10-1. The latest example of that came on Sunday, when he shredded the Indianapolis Colts for 275 yards on 24 of 35 passing and threw three touchdowns with no interceptions.
His 120 QB rating was the third-highest of the season, and it was the first time hes’ broken the 100 mark in the past six weeks. It was also the first December game in which Dalton started and finished the game with a 100 QB rating (Not counting Week 17 vs. Ravens last year).
Speaking of December, Dalton threw for only four TDs in that month in both 2011 (4 games) and ’12 (5 games), but has already throw four in just two games this year against the Colts and San Diego Chargers.
* His 68.6 completion percentage Sunday was the ninth-highest oh his career in 44 possible games
* His 120 QB rating was the sixth highest of his career and his 13th win in 14 games when he posts a 100+ QB rating
* With Sunday’s win, Dalton is now 17-2 as an NFL starter when he posts a QB rating of 90 or higher
* The Bengals are still just 4-4 this year when Dalton attempts 33 or more passes, despite his 35 passes on Sunday
