The Cincinnati Bengals have lost Kevin huber for the season after taking a brutal hit last night in the team’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, as he suffered a cracked vertebrae in addition to a broken jaw, and he’ll be placed on season-ending injured reserve
Bengals punter Kevin Huber not only suffered broken jaw but also a cracked vertebrae in his neck on block by Steelers’ Gavin. Headed to IR.

Here is a GIF of the hit that Pittsburgh Steelers special teamer Terence Garvin put on Huber that knocked him out of the contest:
The play also resulted in an Antonio Brown touchdown, and put the Bengals in a 21-0 hole, and they ultimately lost by a 30-20 score.
The Bengals are now scanning the free agent market for a punter after they lost one of the best in the NFL in Huber. Kicker Mike Nugent replaced Huber and kicked his first punt since ’05, driving the football 37 yards to the Steelers 33-yard line.
Regardless, a in jury to the vertebrate is very scary for not only a player’ s career, but his life outside of football. Our thought and prayers go out to Huber that he recovers from this and it doesn’t affect his long-term health.
