The Cincinnati Bengals are in a bind this week needing to sign a free agent punter after Kevin Huber took a season-ending hit from Steelers special teamer Terence Garvin last night that will sideline him for the remainder of the season.
Huber was diagnosed with having a fractured jaw and a cracked vertebrae, and while his season is over, the Bengals hope a win vs. the Minnesota Vikings will extend their season into the playoffs. Kicker mike Nugent is now filling-in for Huber, but expect to see a punter signed this week.
We floated some names to consider earlier today, and it appears the team already has a workout with several free agents scheduled:

The former Buffalo Bills punter was cut after a stretch of games that was erratic to say the least. The second-year punter struggled in two-straight games against the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns as he punted 16 times, but had a subpar net average of just 30 yards.
