The biggest complaint to come out of this game will be the play of Andy Dalton, who once again played poorly in a playoff game and is now 0-3 in the postseason. He also failed to get the ball to A.J. Green, who finished the game with just three catches for 34 yards but was targeted eight times.

Either way, the Bengals season is over after a lot of promise was shown at times, but ultimately, it’s hard to fault this team too much given the amount of injuries they overcame just to win what turned out to be pretty mediocre AFC North division.

Who knows what the offseason holds or what changes will be made among the players and coaching staff, but you still  can’t argue this team has a lot of potential when their key guys are healthy.

If Pro Bowlers Geno Atkins and Leon Hall can return to form in 2014 to go with an offense full of young and promising players that will only continue to grow, this team should get right back into the playoffs next year.
