UPDATE 12:30 p.m. EST

It appears this “report” was in-fact am inaccurate one, according to former Bengals play-by-play caller Brad Johansen:

As it stands, Zimmer is only visiting the Vikings for a second interview right now, and previous indications were that the team was taking it’s time in naming it’s next head coach, possibly waiting until after the Super Bowl to do so, as it may take that long before they are able to interview certain candidates whose teams may be in that game.

It would serve Brown right to lose Zimmer. A huge loss for the Bengals. Should have fired Lewis and promoted Zimmer. This will hurt the Bengals at the ticket office and should teach Brown a lesson, not to mention he probably blew his chance to re-sign Michael Johnson. This will haunt Brown for years to come, No longer a contender. It might even cost them players like AJ Green next year at this time. We will see.
