Round 2: Weston Richburg, C. Colorado State

With Paul Alexander being at the Senior Bowl practices, he has to have had his eye on this guy right here. He may not be a well known guy, but Richburg has been making a statement that he should be the first center taken off the board.

Having a tremendous Senior Bowl week, he shut down numerous defenders and often created big stale mates. He has been a top three center in the NCAA in the past three seasons, and now is finally getting recognized.

Owning great speed and feet, he is able to move with quick players and even pull if need be. Owning a great punch off of the line, he continuously plays with a mean streak; allowing him to be the bully in the fight.

Has an explosive snap off of the ball and owns great instincts so he can block more than one player. While he struggles with second level blocks, he gets to the second level numerous times.

However, he sometimes just tries to get in their way where he just throws himself at them; in which he ends up on the ground. That can certainly be coached out of him though, as he shows quickness to get into the second level.

This may not be a sexy pick, but it’s a pick that helps this Bengals offense become even better.
