While there wasn’t any “real” football games on Sunday, there was the annual Pro Bowl game being played in Honolulu, Hawaii, and a pair of Cincinnati Bengals were part of it.
While it was certainly a special moment for receiver A.J. Green as he was playing in his third-straight Pro Bowl, it was even more special for outside linebacker Vontaze Burfict.
After learning he would be going to his first Pro Bowl after being undrafted just two seasons ago, he admitted that there were tears of joy flowing down his cheeks as he received the news. He made sure to leave his mark in his first Pro Bowl.
After a pass from Andrew Luck was batted at the line of scrimmage, Burfict showed some hustle and came up with a diving grab for an interception. No matter what game that play took part in, it was an impressive grab by Tez:
Ironically, Burfict had as many catches as Green.
