Vikings Defensive End Jared Allen

Obviously, with a good chance for Michael Johnson to exit Cincinnati in 2014, they could look to free agency for the answer. Jared Allen could be on his way out of Minnesota if Johnson would join Mike Zimmer in Minnesota.

Allen finished 2014 with 11.5 sacks, but will be 32 years of age entering the next season.

Still, he’s a the kind of pass-rusher who could make up for the loss of Michael Johnson is he leaves in free agency. Allen also had 52 total tackles and 2 forced fumbles while playing in every game this season.

The vikings are unlikely to re-sign, and again, it will come down to the market for his services as to how much  the Bengals consider him

We have Andrew Withworth at LT and Boling will return at RG – we do not need FA OT and Collins with his big cap and we dont need M Jenkins- we have Nelson and Lloka and backup S Williams. I agree on Allen but if the price isnt too much. I think we need C- and A. Mack is priority for us. Also want new LB -Harrison is not an answer, and want CB in 1 st rd.

Thank you so much for the feedback and your opinion. It is great to hear what people think and get feedback. I fully understand what we have, and don’t get me wrong, we have a lot of great prices. This was the Top 3 Agents that we would love to see in Stripes. All 3 of these guys also have playoff experience past the Wildcard round. That is really what it boils down to in my mind, we need impact players now, that have experience winning in the playoffs. It will be interesting to see as well because we need some strong depth and that is what all 3 guys will also bring. It is unlikely we sign all 3 or even one of these guys, but you can’t say that if we brought in just one of these guys in, they would not make an impact.
