Dennard will be fighting to be the first CB drafted in May, and if he’s selected before pick No. 24, it could lead to Justin Gilbert out of Oklahoma State falling to Cincy.

That’s who was mocked to the Bengals in the latest Fansided 2014 Mock Draft.

Gilbert, a consensus All-American and Thorpe Award finalist, tallied seven interceptions (including two returned for touchdowns) and is projected by many to be a top-10 pick.

If he fell to the Bengals at No. 24, it would be one of, if not the biggest steal of the draft.

He also has the ability to return kicks. Gilbert owns the OSU record and is tied for the Big 12 record with five career kickoff returns for touchdowns.

Gilbert will be a game-changer for whoever nabs him, and the Bengals won’t think twice if he’s on the board when they’re on the clock.
