The Super Bowl has concluded, and the NFL Draft order is now set for all 32 NFL teams. The Seattle Seahawks are world champions, and the draft order is set with two picks to be determined by a coin flip.
The draft order is determined by the record of each loser in the regular season and the round in which playoff teams were eliminated. The Denver Broncos have the unenviable position of picking at No. 31, the spot reserved for the Super Bowl runner-up.
If you watched the Super Bowl, you might wonder how they even got that far, but that’s a discussion for another post.
The Cincinnati Bengals (11-5) will draft 24th because they had the best record of all teams who lost in the Wild Card round.
With that being said, here is the current NFL Draft order:
|2||St. Louis Rams (via Washington Redskins|
|7||Tampa Bay Buccaneers|
|12||New York Giants|
|13||St. Louis Rams|
|16||Baltimore Ravens or Dallas Cowboys*|
|17||Baltimore Ravens or Dallas Cowboys*|
|18||New York Jets|
|21||Green Bay Packers|
|23||Kansas City Chiefs|
|25||San Diego Chargers|
|26||Cleveland Browns (via Indianapolis Colts)|
|27||New Orleans Saints|
|29||New England Patriots|
|30||San Francisco 49ers|
*To be determined by coin flip
This is just the beginning of the offseason, but it it nice to know the full draft order for the most part.
