Geno Atkins’ road to the NFL hasn’t been an easy one, but the All-Pro defensive tackle is now able to look back and feel good about how everything played out.
Having just signed a five-year, $55 million deal this past summer, Atkins is now set for life so long as ha manages his money well.
Regarded as the best defensive tackle in football, Atkins’ college football career began at the University of Georgia, where he was an All-SEC performer and eventually a fourth-round draft pick by the Cincinnati Bengals.
But before all of that, he was a high school recruit out St. Thomas Aquinas high School (Fort Lauderdale, FL) in the class of 2006.
