The Cincinnati Bengals have a better idea of which free agents they can pursue now that the franchise tag deadline has passed.
Only a few big names were hit with the tag, which leaves plenty of strong talent left to hit the open market should they not come to new terms on deals before free agency starts on March 11.
The Bengals are in no way known for spending big on free agents. Marvin Lewis and Co. prefer to retain their own, so for the purposes of this list we will attempt to leave out major names such as Jairus Byrd. However, remember that the Bengals do have more cap space than normal to work with (although it will probably go to extensions rather than free agents):

The following few players are names who did not get hit with a tag and may be in the team’s price range if they hit the open market.
