Here is a look at the first Stripe Hype 2014 NFL weekly seven round Bengals mock draft. Each week a mock will be posted attempting to fill needs and get value in a draft that is full or talent. Of course, before knowing how free agency plays out doing a mock draft can be tricky. Things will definitely change once we know the status of LT Anthony Collins and DE Michael Johnson.

Round 1 Pick 24: Calvin Pryor, FS, Louisville

The bottom line is that the Bengals have to get younger in the secondary. With that said you can’t reach for a corner because it’s a big need. Pryor would move right into Chris Crocker’s former role and provide a successor to current free safety Reggie Nelson. Pryor can play about anywhere in the secondary and is a well-rounded safety.
