When the Cincinnati Bengals lost cornerback Brandon Ghee, who left for San Diego, the question became how would the Bengals replace an important depth piece? Well the Bengals answered the question sooner than the draft.
The Bengals sign R.J. Stanford on Monday, according to Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com. Later on in the day, the Bengals announced the signing via twitter:

Although no details were immediately available about the deal, the newest Bengal is entering his fifth NFL season. After being drafted by the Panthers in 2010 in the 7th round, Stanford spent the last two seasons with the Miami Dolphins, but his season ended early in 2013 with an injury to his ankle.
Stanford brings both defensive and special teams experience to the Bengals. He also adds youth to an aging corner position that has Adam Jones (30) and Terrance Newman (35). The Bengals didn’t make a huge splash in free agency, but they have added a key depth to the roster heading into a deep draft.
