The Cincinnati Bengals have a number of first year players between the draft and free agency, but which player will impact this Bengals team the most in 2016.

The Cincinnati Bengals have a number of players who could get a starting nod in their first year, including the unusual rookie starter role. Karlos Dansby and Brandon LaFell will certainly make an impact in year one but will it be more than Tyler Boyd or Andrew Billings?

Tyler Boyd is certainly the most talented skill played coming in to year one, there is little doubt about that. However, the Bengals are built on defense and guys like Andrew Billings and Karlos Dansby have a unit around them that only bolster the argument of their impact being felt in both volume and frequency.

There is little argument, Tyler Boyd should have the most impact of all the Bengals rookies, with Andrew Billings being the biggest threat to taking that title away. When you add Brandon LaFell and Karlos Dasby, two seasoned veteran players, it becomes a different story.

Brandon LaFell won a Super Bowl with the New England Patriots in 2014-15. He has playoff experience and has played in one of the best systems, outside of the cheating, in the NFL. Karlos Dansby was one of the most fierce players to come out of the Browns organization in free agency. Dansby has the ability to wrap and tackle, disrupt the backfield, and plug running gaps.

We put up a poll on twitter asking Bengals fans, who do you think will have the most impact in year one as a Bengal?

All four players should have an impact on this team in 2016, but Bengals fans are right on the money. Karlos Dansby and Tyler Boyd will be critical to the success of this team. If they get off to a solid start, this team could succeed in winning not only a playoff game but the AFC Championship, just like we said in our Five Bold Predictions.
