The Day After

Well, Stripe Hype readers were wrong in predicting that the Detroit Lions would win a game before the Bengals (and yes, a new poll will be forthcoming shortly), but it was a close thing. Bulletin board material for the Bengals from SI’s Peter King:
"The Bengals have seven games left, and Chad Johnson says he thinks the team could finish 8-8. Well, in two weeks the Bengals start a rather interesting five-game stretch — Eagles, at Steelers, Ravens, at Colts, Redskins — and I’ll just say this: If they sweep those five, I’m changing my name to Peter Ocho Cinco."
Former Postie Kevin Goheen breaks down the Andrew Whitworth – John Henderson rumble. Kirk has video. I agree with those who think that ripping a guy’s helmet off and trying to gouge out his eyes calls for some action by Emperor Goodell.
Project Mayhem has a successful kick-off.
