ESPN Ranks Bengals as the Worst Franchise in Pro Sports.

There’s nothing to say to this. There is no spinning to make it less painful, the Bengals were ranked 122nd out of 122 pro sport franchises. The worst part of this ranking is, I can’t even argue with most of these rankings.

The BNB is very fair when you look at the Revenue vs the Wins.

The Fan relations aren’t surprising, especially when much of the fan base makes it their mission in life to have the Owner of the franchise removed. (WDR, Jungle John, ETC)

The ownership category? Mike Brown has gone down in the record books as the NFL Owner to reach the 200th loss milestone the fastest, nothing more needs to be said for that.

Affordability, the Bengals haven’t been known for lowering prices, or giving out great deals for renewing their season tickets. (See Popcorn)

Stadium experience, I love PBS and think it’s a great stadium, but factoring in the promotions and the fact the Bengals are rarely on the cutting edge with things like “Fanvision”.

Players, alright the ONLY one I’m confused about, it mentions the on field Effort and Likability off it. I find this one hard to believe Bengals lose a player popularity contest, Ochocinco by himself could beat out a few bottom feeder teams. The fact the man bats an eyelash and he get himself a reality TV show or a cell phone APP is proof enough there’s a lot of popularity there. I’m not saying they should even be in the top 100, but the fact they said they’re 122 in player likability is head scratching. (Even more so was the fact John Wall’s Wizards were 119)

Coaching, not entirely sure if this is taking into account the post-season coaching changes or not. But either way, I don’t think the ranking here is unfair in either category. The only saving grace keeping the Bengals from the very bottom is DC Mike Zimmer, and RB coach Jim Anderson (Been with the team 27 years, and typically gets the most of who’s on the roster)

Title Track, well the reds are 39..

For those wanting to know what the abbreviations stand for and the criteria for their grading I provided the list directly from the page.
