After injuring his knee against Pittsburgh in week 10, the Bengals most prolific offensive weapon, A.J. Green, will finally return to practice today in hopes of playing against Cleveland on Sunday. Green hopes to have a good feel by the end of the day as to whether or not he’ll be able to play Sunday in a crucial game the Bengals need to win to prevent a 3-game losing streak going into Pittsburgh next week. He had this to say about how he feels about his injury:
“We are just going to take it day by day and see how it goes.”
If Green can’t go, the Bengals will rely heavily on Jerome Simpson, who was nominated for AFC Offensive Player of the week after his eight catch, 152 yard performance against Baltimore last week.
