Bengals News

Its Pro Bowl Sunday

The 2012 NFL Pro Bowl is set to kick off tonight at 7:00 pm, and no one would have guessed at the beginning of the year that the Bengals would have multiple players in the game. But we saw the emergence of DT Geno Atkins, and TE Jermaine Gresham, who in just the second years are already playing at a Pro Bowl level. We saw a new star enter the NFL in A.J. Green, whose 1057 receiving yards set a Bengals rookie record. And the Bengals also got their franchise QB in Andy Dalton, as he became just one of five rookies with over 3,000 passing yards and 20 touchdowns in a season. The last time the Bengals had four players in the Pro Bowl was the 2005 season when five made it. Dalton and Green will become the first rookie quarterback-receiver duo from the same team to be in the Pro Bowl.
