Former Bengal Ahmad Brooks gets six-year Extension from 49ers

The former third-round supplemental pick by the Bengals has played in San Francisco since 2008. After being drafted in 2006, Brooks played for two seasons before tearing his groin muscle during the 2007 season and was placed on IR. He was later waived by the Bengals prior to the 2008 season during final cuts. It is good to see Brooks finally live up to his potential. Its just unfortunate its not in Bengals stripes.
