After the Bengals signed RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis this week and expressed their desire to give more carries to RB Bernard Scott, it became even more obvious that the team had no plans of bringing back Cedric Benson to carry the load for the Bengals offense as he’d done the past four seasons. He’s had some great moments in Bengals stripes, rushing for 1,000 yards in three of his four seasons in Cincinnati. Though he hasn’t been one mentioned amongst the elite NFL runningbacks, nor even the best in his own division. Nut his importance to the Bengals cannot be question, and that became apparent in 2008 when he first joined the team.
