On November 13th of 2011, while playing the Pittsburgh Steelers, starting Bengals cornerback Leon Hall suffered what turned out to be a torn Achilles tendon in his left leg, causing him to miss the remainder of the season. Hall, up to that point, had not missed a game due to injury since high school. As the leader and best player in the secondary, his loss was a tough blow for the team, and his absence was noticeable.
Hall quickly had surgery to repair the damage and set out to rehab it as soon as possible, with the stated goal of being ready for training camp this season. His dedication and hard work are admirable, but questions still remain surrounding his timetable for return.
