Finding a True #2 WR

2 of 2

A #2 WR is arguably the Bengals biggest need heading in to the 2012 NFL Draft. It depends on which expert or experts you talk too. Yes, it is definately high on the list. It might even be higher than OG. I believe it is. Especially when they can take a guy like Kevin Zeitler or Amini Silatolu in the 2nd round. I like DeCastro. He is high on my board and I’m pretty sure it’s a safe bet that he is high on the Bengals board as well. Some experts don’t believe DeCastro’s frame will hold up against the enormous DTs and NGs of the AFC North. I believe in short term that could prove to be true. Long term is up for debate. Especially sense he is viewed by several scouts as the best OG draft prospect since Steve Hutchinson. Talk about a contradiction. I even have DeCastro going to Cincinnati in my last mock draft. However at this time, I believe if it came down to Floyd (if he falls) or DeCastro, Floyd would be the pick #17.

Here is my list top 10 best #2 WR options in the 2012 NFL Draft (in order):

Michael Floyd, Noter Dame

Justin Blackmon, Oklahoma State

Stephen Hill, Georgia Tech

Rueben Randle, LSU

Mohamed Sanu, Rutgers

Kendall Wright, Baylor

Alshon Jeffery, South Carolina

Juron Criner, Arizona

A.J. Jenkins, Illinois

Brian Quick, Appalachian State
