Week in Review: 2012 Bengals Player Performance Predictions, Offense Round 1

2 of 4

AJ Green, WR-

AJ wowed everyone with his performance last season. He made some incredible, highlight reel catches. Athletically, he is a freak. He is phenomenally gifted and will be a top receiver in the NFL for years to come. He’s tall, fast, has great hands, and great leaping ability. There is not a cornerback in the NFL that can cover him one-on-one.

In the offseason, he appears to be bulking up some. That shouldn’t affect his production. If anything, it will add to his ability to separate and keep hauling in passes over defenders. Last year was also his rookie season and he put up impressive numbers. He became the first NFL rookie wide receiver to catch over 1,000 yards since 2005. There is more film on him and he will draw even more double coverage this season, but he has the talent to still be a top producer. Add in that he came in this offseason establishing himself as a leader and you have a recipe for success.

2012 Prediction-  100 receptions, 1,300 yards, 12 touchdowns
