Minnesota Vikings 26 Jacksonville Jaguars 23: In the game of the day thus far, the Vikings won in overtime. Adrian Peterson looked fine with two rushing TDs.

Washington Redskins 40 New Orleans Saints 32: Robert Griffin III showed why he was the 2nd pick of the draft, with 320 yards passing with two TDs. Pierre Garcon had an 88-yard TD catch early in the game. The Saints only managed 32 yards rushing and Brees was picked off twice. Alfred Morris rushed for 96 yards and two TDs for Washington.

New York Jets 48 Buffalo Bills 28: In the day’s biggest shocker, Mark Sanchez threw for three TDs, while Shonn Greene ran for another. Rookie WR Stephen Hill caught two of the TD passes, and the Jets added a TD on a punt return. Bills RB Fred Jackson suffered an injury, but C.J. Spiller rushed for 169 yards in his absence. The Bills had four turnovers, including three Ryan Fitzpatrick INTs.

Houston Texans 30 Miami Dolphins 10: The Texans started slow, but Arian Foster got it going, punching in two 2nd quarter TDs. WR Andre Johnson had 119 yards receiving and a TD as well. Miami QB Ryan Tannehill had an inauspicious debut, throwing three INTs. J.J. Watt was big for Houston, getting a lot of pressure and recording 1.5 sacks.
