Making his first start in nearly two years, Broncos QB Peyton Manning looked like his old self as he completed 19/26 passes for 253 yards and a pair of TDs to lead Denver to a 31-19 victory over the Steelers.

Colts DE Dwight Freeney will undergo an MRI to determine the severity of the ankle injury that forced him to leave Sunday’s loss against the Bears, but Head Coach Chuck Pagano said he was day to day at this point.

Cardinals QB John Skelton suffered a right ankle injury, and it appears it may be a high ankle sprain, meaning he’ll be out for at least the next few games. Kevin Kolb played well in relief, going 6/8 for 66 yards and the game-winning TD throw to Andre Roberts.

Patriots QB Tom Brady won his 125th game in just his 160th career start, a record for fewest starts to reach 125 wins. The previous mark was held by Peyton Manning with 184 starts.

The NFLPA is threatening “appropriate action” over the use of replacement officials.

As for the Rookie Quarterbacks Making their Debuts:

Robert Griffin III showed why he was the 2nd pick of the draft, with 320 yards passing with two TDs to lead the Redskins to a huge upset road-win over the New Orleans Saints, 40-32.

Andrew Luck’s first NFL game didn’t go as planned as he threw for over 300 yards, but was also intercepted three times, and the Colts lost to the Bears, 41-21.

Brandon Weeden had a rough first start, with a passer rating of 5.1 as the Brown fell to the Eagles, 17-16.

Ryan Tannehill had a forgettable debut, throwing 3 INTs as the Dolphins were hammered by the Texans, 30-10.

Russell Wilson went 18/34 for 153 yrads with a TD and 1 INT, but came up just short of his first career NFL victory as the Seahawks dropped a 20-16 heartbreaker to the Cardinals.
