Kansas City Chiefs (+9) @ New Orleans Saints (-9) O/U 53

Even though they have a 0-2 record, it is still very apparent that the Saints still have a very high powered offense. Their defense seems to be holding them back by allowing teams with decent offenses to score more points that they should. Against Kansas City, however, the Saints defense may be just good enough. The Chiefs have been struggling to get their offense going this season and the Saints should pull away from them rather easily in a must win game. The spread is large, but the Saints have the tools to get it done.

Bet: Saints -9

Buffalo Bills (-3) @ Cleveland Browns (+3) O/U 44.5

Cleveland’s offense looked much better than anticipated last week against a struggling Bengals defense. The Bills turned around their terrible week one loss into a crushing win over the Chiefs in week two. It is conceivable, however, that the Bills are the more “for real” team here though. The Bills pass rush should provide a constant threat to rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden, and the Browns offense will not enjoy the same type of success they had last week.

Bet: Bills -3

Jacksonville Jaguars (+3) @ Indianapolis Colts (-3) O/U 41.5

This is a tough game to call. Both teams have their fair share of problems as the Jaguars struggle behind a very inconsistent Blaine Gabbert, and the Colts are a very young team in transition. This should be a very close divisional battle and the defenses on both teams should be able to benefit from their opponents inexperienced offenses. Project a low scoring game in this one.

Bet: Under 41.5

Philadelphia Eagles (-3.5) @ Arizona Cardinals (+3.5) O/U 42.5

The Eagles squeaked out a couple of one point wins this season as they overcame their slew of turnovers. The Cardinals had an unexpected performance last week as they took down the high powered Patriots. The Cardinals are riding high right now, but it is the Eagles defense that will prevail here. Their offense will be able to make corrections and limit turnovers and the Cardinals offense will not be able to handle the Eagles defense that is currently ranked third in the league.

Bet: Eagles -3.5

Atlanta Falcons (+3) @ San Diego Chargers (-3) O/U 47.5

There is no doubt that the Falcons should not be the underdogs in this game. Even with home field advantage, the Chargers simply to not have what it takes to compete with such a complete team as the Falcons. Atlanta has simply turned into one of the best teams in the league and they should continue to roll this week with a win in San Diego.

Bet: Falcons +3

Houston Texans (-3) @ Denver Broncos (+3) O/U 44.5

The Texans continue to dominate opponents with their high powered offense led by running back Arian Foster, and their stingy defense. The Broncos have improved as well as Peyton Manning looks to regain his form after a bad performance last week. Each of these teams are capable of putting up over 30 points a week, and when they play each other, the word shootout comes to mind. Take the over here.

Bet: Over 44.5

Pittsburgh Steelers (-3.5) @ Oakland Raiders (+3.5) O/U 45.5

This is one of the tougher games to call this week. The Raiders always play the Steelers tough. The Steelers will most likely be without star safety Troy Polamalu and running back Rashard Mendenall.Oaklandquarterback Carson Palmer is very familiar with the Steelers defense from his days in Cincinnati, but isn’t the same quarterback that he used to be. This game could be much closer than most would think. So close that the best bet doesn’t seem to be to take either team in this one. Instead, look at the under here. This could turn into a sloppy game and there is a chance that neither team scores over 20 points.

Bet: Under 45.5

New England Patriots (+3) @ Baltimore Ravens (-3) O/U 49.5

Both of these teams suffered losses in week two by a combined total of three points. Both of these teams are looking to rebound and are looking for redemption.Baltimoreis a tough team to play at home, but the Patriots are always a worthy foe. This is certainly a game that could come down to the wire. The thing to watch here is that this game could turn into more of a defensive struggle than people will think. The Patriots are learning that life after Aaron Hernandez is tough, and Baltimore all but scrapped their no huddle offense against the Eagles last week.

Bet: Under 49.5

Monday, September 24th

Green Bay Packers (-3) @ Seattle Seahawks (+3) O/U 46.5

The Packers offense has been a disappointment this year so far. The Seahawks have been a surprise team on the rise. However, this should be the week that Aaron Rodgers and company bounce back in a big way. Seattle has a decent defense but they will not be able to get Rodgers and company off the field. The Packers defense, although porous, are ball hawks and will look to prey upon rookie quarterback Russell Wilson. Seattle is tough to play against at home, but the Packers have a veteran enough squad to get it done.

Bet: Packers -3

There you have it football and betting fans. It’s been an interesting year so far, and should continue to be interesting going into week three. Hopefully, if you are making some wages this weekend, you come out on the winning side of things. Good luck!
