The 1:00 games are all finished, and there were surprises, disappointments, blowouts and great games. Here are some quick highlights from today so far.

Minnesota 20 Detroit 13

The Lions continue to disappoint, while the Vikings continue to defy the predictions. The Lions special teams can shoulder the blame here, allowing to ST touchdowns, including a team record 105 yard kickoff return by Percy Harvin to open the game.

San Diego 37 Kansas City 20

The Chargers defense forced 6 turnovers in this one, including one returned for a TD. Jamaal Charles had another nice game, scoring two TDs, but the Chiefs offense couldn’t overcome the giveaways.

New England 52 Buffalo 28

The Bills jumped out to a 21-7 lead, but the Patriots rolled off five straight scores and would up blowing out Buffalo. Tom Brady threw for 3 TDs and ran for one. Wes Welker had 9 catches for over 100 yards. The running game was also great for the Pats, with both Steven Ridley and Brandon Bolden going over 100 yards on the ground.

St Louis 19 Seattle 13

It was a defensive battle in St Louis, but the Rams won the turnover battle and the game. Russell Wilson was picked off three times, and a fake field goal by St Louis was the difference.

San Francisco 34 NY Jets 0

This one wasn’t even close. The 49ers defense was spectacular again, holding the Jets to no points, and returning a Carlos Rogers INT for a TD.  The San Francisco offense was solid, but not spectacular. The Jets also may have lost another key player to injury, as Santonio Holmes went down in a lot of pain.
