ESPN’s Chris Mortensen said that Texas A&M tackle Luke Joeckel is the likely frontrunner for the #1-overall pick, which is currently held by the Kansas City Chiefs, who would likely be better off trading the pick away and acquiring more picks to help new head coach Andy Reid rebuild the franchise as quickly as possible.
Ex-Chiefs Genral Manager Scott Pioli also listed Joeckel as the top underclassman in the draft.
In that same article Pioli said Alabama runningback Eddie Lacy should be an every-down back in the NFL.
