It would appear as though Ed Reed’s time with the Baltimore Ravens is coming to a close, as he’s now hired an agent, and based on his affiliations, as well as his discussions with the Ravens, Reed is expected to move on:
Ed Reed has hired Dave Dunn to be his agent. Dunn's company has a history with the Pats, including Welker and Hernandez, among others.

Reed had a chat with Ravens officials recently and there is a good chance he moves on, depending on how his market shapes up

PFT is also reporting the San Francisco 49ers may be interested in Reed:
"A league source with extensive knowledge of the current safety market believes that the 49ers could land Ravens safety Ed Reed."
The Ravens did extend a second-round tender to restricted free agent tight end Dennis Pitta. They also placed the original-draft-round tender on Ed Dickson, worth $1.393 million, and the compensation to get him is a third-round pick.
The Pittsburgh Steelers and offensive guard Ramon Foster have come to terms on a three-year deal, which could signify the end of guard Willie Colon’s career in Pittsburgh.
