As the Cincinnati Bengals and their coaches and scouts travel across the country in hopes of finding the next crop of propsects they’ll look to draft in APril, we’ll be keeping uyou up-to-date with all of the latest movement leading up to the NFL Draft.
At Texas’ Pro Day, the Bengals had an eye on defensive lineman Alex Okafor:
Pittsburgh Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin was also spotted here, presumably to watch safety Kenny Vaccaro, who he is currently recovering from a hip flexor injury that he suffered during a private workout and did not run today. Vaccaro is expected to be off the board when the Bengals make their first selection at pick #21.
That’s not stopping them from working Vaccaro out though:
Aaron Blakeney has already made the case for drafting Okafor.
The Bengals have already watched North Carolina runningback Giovanni Bernard work out and also met with him. Look for him as a potential draft pick in the second-round.
